Victims of Sexual Harassment Must Step Forward and Report

August 2, 2016

Presidential candidate Donald Trump recently said during an interview that if his daughter was sexually harassed at work, he would hope she would quit and find a new career.  Victims of sexual harassment should not go way quietly as Mr. Trump suggests.  Every employee has a right to continue their employment in a harassment free workplace.  Thus, it extremely important to follow company policy and report any complaints of harassment.  If an employee quits without taking advantage of a company’s anti-harassment policy, that employee may be barred from later pursuing their harassment claim.  If you have questions, regarding workplace harassment, please contact your Tampa Employment Lawyer, Darren D.
