EEOC Finds Wal-Mart Engaged in Discrimination

February 24, 2015

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) recently found that Wal-Mart engaged in discrimination when it failed to offer benefits to same sex couples.  Specifically, the EEOC ruled that Wal-Mart discriminated against a lesbian employee when it refused to provide health coverage to her and her wife, who had ovarian cancer.  If you believe your employer has subjected you to discrimination, contact your Tampa Employment Lawyer, Darren McClain.
