Disney Ordered to Pay Unpaid Overtime

March 22, 2017

The Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division recently ruled that Disney owed Florida amusement park workers $3.8 million in unpaid overtime compensation.  The DOL determined that workers were not properly paid for time spent before and after shifts, such as putting on and taking off costumes.  The DOL also found that Disney did not maintain proper payroll records.  If you have an overtime question, contact Tampa’s Employment Lawyer Darren D. McClain.
