Discrimination Can Take Many Forms

February 21, 2014

When your employment is terminated, there is not usually a memo or someone who stated that your employment is terminated because of your sex, race, national origin, age or disability.  Rather, to have an idea of whether you have been discriminated against, you must look at how the employer treated other individuals not in your protected class.  For example, if your employment is terminated because of your attendance, you may have been subject to discrimination if another individual who has the same or similar job was not terminated with a similar attendance problem.  Any questions, please contact Tampa’s discrimination lawyer, Darren McClain.
