Report Harassment Claims

February 19, 2015

If you believe you have been subject to harassment at work based on a protected characteristic such as sex, pregnancy, race, national origin, age or disability, most employer policies have a reporting procedure that you must follow.  If you fail to follow that procedure, you could be barred from pursuing the harassment claim in the future.  If you report a claim of harassment and are then subjected to an adverse job action such as termination, demotion, etc., you may have a case against your employer for retaliation.  Please contact your Tampa Employment Lawyer Darren D. McClain for more information.
