Government Back Open, for now…

October 17, 2013

With last night’s last minute votes, the Government is back open for business, at least until January 15, 2013.  During the shutdown, employees were impacted as the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission was shuttered.  During that time, EEOC complaints were not investigated and scheduled mediations were cancelled.  Now that the EEOC is back open, if you think your employer subjected you to disparate treatment or harassment based on a protected characteristic such as race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, contact me.
